CHRISTMAS IS JUST A FEW DAYS AWAY

The chatter in the market was lively, I mean at this time of the year one wouldn’t expect less. In case you don’t know, christmas is some 6 days away. No minding the sun on my Ethiopian skin, I pushed my way through urging Bimbo to do the same but this girl had other plans.

“Babe, let us go nah, you know we have to meet that tailor Mama Izzy. She seems to be dodging us these days on top of our own clothes fa.”

“My dear, I won’t be surprised if she has not even touched our materials.”

I Lost My Watch

Hi Tribe!

I’m grateful to you all for the consistent support and followership you’ve given me over the years, especially as I decided to return to the world of blogging today!

However, as I went about my daily activities, the voice of the Lord came to me that I should “WAIT!”

He made me understand that this is still pruning time for me, and not yet harvest time.

So, I’m simply sorry for making haste, I don’t want to waste His grace.

In other words, I’m losing my watch and allowing God take control of this blog.

In the meantime, I’d keep posting on my social media handles, God willing.

God bless you.

THE NAME OF JESUS

That’s how on Saturday night, October 5th to be precise, I and Juwon my friend strolled back home from evangelism/visitation.

O boy! The name of Jesus is powerful!

See how the events unfolded

*********

“Ogbeni! Bring that phone” the hoodlum shouted after missing his target of grabbing the Infinix Hot S3 held in my hands.

On turning back, I could see the dagger pointed in my direction as the hoodlum made an attempt to snatch the phone from my hand. They were two at my back for that matter!

I lost my watch

Written by Fortune Jacob

I watched from the corner of the blanket as my husband tossed from side to side muttering to himself words too silent for me to hear. I looked at the clock it was 2 am, and he hasn’t slept. This has been the trend since 4 days ago after he visited his friend pastor Leke. For 4 days he has been sullen and restless.

Yesterday the rent was due, and only part payment was offered.

I’m Back

Hello Tribe!

Salt is back!

Yeah, yeah! ✌

I know you have missed me, I’ve missed you too.

Like seriously!

And thanks for your prayers, guys. 🙏

God helped me in my exams and I am grateful.

Can you guess what I’ve been doing in the past five months of my absence on this platform?

I’ve been sharpening my dull edges in writing..

We’d be having special posts from guests.

Guys, please forgive me for not finishing up the beatitudes series, don’t worry, we’re finishing it up together this time around.

Xoxo 😍

GREATER THINGS ARE YET TO COME!

However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived ” – the things God has prepared for those who love him – these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God” – 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

I’m a strange mix of procrastination and planner. Super OCD about the important things, super laid back about everything else. On the outside, and on paper it may look like I have things figured out. (Definitely don’t😬) but I do things that are important to me.
